  1. Pep Club Members – Please get out and sell the Brett Favre jersey raffle tickets. Ticket stubs and money are due back to Mr. Poeschel on Wednesday, October 3. If you need more tickets, please see him for more.

  2. Sophomores participating in the skit should meet in the small gym during power hour to practice.

  3. Please let the 7th / 8th grade football players to leave at 3:20 today, so they can go get ready to go to CF-C.

  4. The cross country team had a successful home invitational last night.The boys placed 1st with four medalists:Isaac Wegner 1st, Manny Bauer 3rd, Parker Schneider 5th and Riley Radle 6th out of 151 runners!The girls team placed 2nd with two medalists:Madison Sand 2nd and Olivia Breidung 11th out of 113 runners!Congratulations to the Cross Country Team!

  5. Congratulations to the Middle School Cross Country teams on your performance at last night’s home meet.    The Middle School Girls team took 1st place out of 7 schools and the Boys team placed 4th.   Special congratulations to Kendell Hagness – 4th overall, Chloe Auth – 5th overall, and Lewis Langrehr – 9th overall.   Awesome job by all runners – Very Proud of You!!!!!!

  6. Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams for their victories over the Mondovi Buffaloes at last night’s game! Let’s do this again against the Elk Mound Mounders tonight!

  7. The first High School Student Council meeting will be on Tuesday, October 2nd during power hour.All class officers and any other interested high school students should attend.Students should check in at their power hour first for attendance.

  8. Start gathering your spare change, Durand High School is having a penny war this homecoming to raise money for the Mike Bonn Family. This is a homecoming competition. Money containers will be available before school, during both lunches, and at the home volleyball game on Thursday. Look for the rules posted around the school!

  9. Homecoming dress-up counts will take place during power hour this week. If you are a senior who has early out, you should report to your class advisor before leaving if you want to be counted.

  1. 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball please sign up in the office.

  2. Just a reminder to the Middle School Cross Country team that our meet is at Rolling Greens Golf Course tonight.  

  3. JV Football players should be released at 3 p.m. today.

  4. Homecoming coronation is tonight at 7:00 at the Bauer Built Sports Complex. High school students are reminded to vote for homecoming king and queen by 3:30 today. You were emailed the link for the voting ballot.

  5. There will be a brief homecoming court meeting at the beginning of power hour today in the commons. All court members are expected to attend.

  9. Homecoming dance tickets will go on sale today in Mrs. Richardson’s room.Pre-sale will be $4.00.They will be $5.00 at the door.The dance will be September 29th from 8 – 11:00 pm.

  10. Junior and Senior girls who are playing powderpuff, you will be riding busses to and from the game tonight. Please be to the school by 6:15pm. Seniors will ride the bus first, and the juniors will follow. Coaches must ride the busses as well.

  1. Juniors planning to take the PSAT or attend the college fair need to sign up with Mrs. Tolle as soon as possible.

  2. Juniors and Seniors interested in taking college classes through the Early College Credit Program, formerly known as Youth Options, can get the application from Mrs. Tolle.  Applications are due back October 1st.

  3. Any 7th and 8th grade boy interested in playing basketball should sign up in the office.

  4. 8th grade choir students are reminded to see Mrs. Perau by the end of the day to participate in Monday’s activity.

  5. Homecoming court skits are today.  The homecoming court members should be released from class at 2:20.  All other high school students should report to 8th hour first to check in with power hour teachers before going to the gym.  There will be an announcement to release students

  4. The Durand Cross Country meet scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed to Monday, September 24th.

  5. 8th grade choir students are reminded to see Mrs. Perau by Friday afternoon to participate in Monday’s activity.

  4. "Attention high school boys, today is the last day to sign up for the male volleyball tournament for homecoming, please sign up in the office by the end of your lunch hour today. Girls interested in coaching their class’s team should sign up in the office as well. There will be a short meeting today in the cafeteria at the beginning of power hour for all students involved in the volleyball tournament.”

  5. Choir students who have voice lessons scheduled for today please plan on coming Friday.  Today’s lessons have been cancelled.Please see Mrs. Perau if you need a new pass.

Girls interested in coaching their class’s team should sign up in the office by tomorrow as well. If you are planning to have a practice before the tournament, it MUST be supervised. There will be a short meeting for those involved at the beginning of power hour tomorrow in the cafeteria.

  6. Juniors should report to their regular 8th period today with their chrome book.Mr. Walton’s 8th period students should report to Mr. Kvislen’s room today for power hour.

  7. All high school students interested in Tech Ed, that have taken tech ed, that want to take tech ed, who are in tech ed, or who want to know what tech ed is, or what HMV is, or are interested in learning what Skills USA come to Mr. Danzinger’s room during power hour.  If students are gone before power hour visit Mr. Danzinger during their study hall or at the beginning of the day.

  8. Middle School Student Council members should report to Mr. Bauer’s room today at 3:00 pm for a meeting.

  9. There will be a hallway meeting for seniors in Mrs. Jardine’s room during power hour today. Come help to design, cut, create, and make. We can use your help!

  4. Cross Country ran at Eau Claire City Wells last night.Both boys and girls varsity teams brought home First place team trophies, took both individual titles, and earned a total of seven individual medals!!Congratulations to:Isaac Wegner 1st, Manny Bauer 3rd, Parker Schneider 4th, Riley Radle 5th, and the girls: Madison Sand 1st, Olivia Breidung 7th and Brinly Bauer 11th!!!

     

  5. Congratulations to the Middle School boys and girls Cross Country teams on your performance last night at Altoona.Both teams earned 5th place out of 12.Special congratulations to Kendall Hagness who finished 3rd overall out of 86 female runners!

     

  6. Students interested in bringing a guest to the Homecoming Dance from another school, should stop in the office for a dance request form.



Thursday, September 13, 2018 

  1. Attention Juniors and Seniors:A rep from UW-Stout will be here on Tuesday, September 18th at 11:30.Signup in the Pupil Services office if interested.Also, a rep from CVTC will be here on Thursday, September 20th during power hour.Sign up will also take place in the Pupil Services office if interested.

  2. Sophomores working on hallway decorations should report to Mrs. Ingli’s room during power hour today and tomorrow.

  3. Reminder to 7th and 8th grade volleyball players that team pictures will be taken today at 3:00.Players should check-in for their power hour attendance, and then get ready for team pictures.We may have to set up nets for the pictures.Please have picture envelopes and money ready.We will leave for our game in Elmwood by 3:50.

  4. Middle School Cross Country members should be dismissed today at 2:10 to get ready to leave for their meet at Altoona.The bus will be leaving at 2:20.

  5. Any Middle School student who still has a fundraising form should turn it in immediately to Mr. Bauer.If you forgot your form today, please touch base with Mr. Bauer

  1. Junior powderpuff girls must pay for shirts by 3:30 today or the t-shirt will not be ordered.

  2. Please release Middle School Cross Country runners today at 3:10 pm so they can get ready for the invite at Prescott.  The bus leaves at 3:20.

  3. The seniors will meet in Mrs. Carrier’s room during power hour today to get their SENIOR FLOAT planned.  Let’s make this a great year, seniors, and get things going for Homecoming.

  4. Middle School Homecoming Committee will meet during power hour today in Mr. Bauer’s room.

  5. A reminder to Middle school students, fundraising forms are due tomorrow.

  6. There will be a chapter FFA meeting on Wednesday during power hour in Mr. Patnode’s classroom for anyone that is interested in joining or finding out more about our FFA this year.

  2. The Cross Country results from the Fall Creek meet this past Saturday are as follows:The Boys team placed 2nd overall with 4 individual medalists:Isaac (2nd), Manny (5th), Riley (8th) and Parker (9th).The Girls team placed 3rd overall with Madison medaling in 5th place.
