Morning Announcements for Thursday, December 5, 2019 

  1. Mid-quarter is tomorrow. Teachers: all grades are due by 10 pm, Monday, December 9th.

  2. Mr. Poeschel is looking for several people to film the winter sports games for live streaming. This is a paid position at $25 per game for up to two people per game. Mr. Poeschel will train on how to set up equipment. If interested, please see Mr. Poeschel as soon as possible.

  3. Attention Juniors and Seniors: There is a CNA signup sheet in the office.

  4. Happy Holidays from Pep Club! We would like you all to notice the beautiful dress-up signs located throughout the school. We want to be festive this year and dress up for the holidays on each Friday in December. On December 6th wear red and green. Find the posters to see what to wear on the other two Fridays!

  5. Attention Juniors and Seniors: A rep from the Army National Guard will be here for a lunchroom visit on Wednesday, December 11th.

  6. The Lost and Found box is getting full again! If you’ve lost something, come to the office and take a look. Unclaimed items will be donated to St. Vincent’s before the Christmas break.

  7. All 7th and 8th grade Choir students should report to the choir room for rehearsal during power hour today. Please check in with your power hour first.

  8. Ms. Klapperich’s power hour should report to their alternate power hour today.

  9. Miss Richardson is still looking for volunteers to participate in the lunch buddies program. Lunch buddies only meet with her students one day out of the week. If you are interested in this program, please apply. Miss Richardson will look at lunch hours when it gets closer to next semester, as they could be changed. This is a great opportunity to earn some community service hours and to get to know some awesome people! You can pick up applications in Miss Richardson’s room or in the office.

  2. High School class officers will meet in Mr. Kvislen’s room tomorrow during Power Hour.

  3. High School student council will meet Thursday during Power Hour in Mr. Kvislen’s room.

  4. Middle School student council members planning the Christmas activities should report to Mr. Bauer’s room today at the beginning of Power Hour.

  1. Mrs. Stacie Brenner and Mr. Terpstra’s power hours will need to report to their alternate power hour.

  2. Mrs. Stacie Brenner’s 6th hour will need to report to Mr. Schade’s room for class today.

  3. All Choir students going on the Florida trip will be having a rehearsal during power hour today. Please check in with your power hour for attendance before coming to rehearsal.

  5. Middle School Student Council:We will be having a meeting in Mr. Bauer’s room at 3:00 today.

  1. High School students, please check your second semester schedule if you have not done so recently. Especially look for yearlong classes that are not showing up, two classes in a period, not enough classes and incorrect classes. Contact Mrs. Tolle if changes are needed.

  1. Thank you to all the students and teachers who took time to donate blood at the Blood Drive yesterday. Together we collected 73 units of blood and saved possibly 219 lives!

  4. MS Boys basketball players should be dismissed at 2:35 today for their game at Woodville. The bus will leave at 3:20.
