  1. High school students wanting to take college classes through the Early College Credit or Start College Now programs should get an application from Ms. Wrasse.  Applications must be returned by March 1st.

     

  2. This week is National FFA week.  A reminder to all students that there is a school wide food drive taking place this week.  Please help feed people in our own community by bringing nonperishable food items to the Ag room.

     

  3. HMV club will meet right after the pledge on Friday in the Tech Ed room.

     

  4. Any 7th or 8th grade student interested in middle school track should sign up in Mr. Bauer’s room.

     

  5. Juniors have ACT prep during power hour today.

     

  6. The online registration time will be extended until the end of the day today.  Students are urged to register for the classes you want.  If you have trouble entering a class please email Ms. Wrasse.

     

  7. Please excuse the Middle School Forensics kids today at 3:10 for the Level II Tournament at Assumption.  The bus will be leaving at 3:15.

Middle school students are reminded that this is a M-W week.

  1. Any high school track athlete interested in attending a Learn by Doing Clinic at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on February 25th should see Coach Zika for a brochure.

     

  2. High school students wanting to take college classes through the Early College Credit or Start College Now programs should get an application from Ms. Wrasse.  Applications must be returned by March 1st.

     

  3. The first career club will take place tomorrow during power hour.  Sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in participating in this group will gain valuable insight to job interview skills, presentation skills and what employers are wanting in future employees.  Snacks will be provided. Sign up with Mrs. Perau in the choir room if you are interested.

The Math Team participated in the Math Meet at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire last Saturday.  Taking 1st place out of over 100 participants was Durand’s Brendin Larson and taking 5th place was Durand’s Brooke Polzer.  Congratulations to our two winners and thank you to all who participated.

Congratulations to the high school forensics team on their 2nd place finish at Altoona on Saturday.  2nd place finishers included Ian Schneider in Demo, Michael Blackhall in Extemp, and Alex Fedie in Impromptu.  3rd place finishers were Maya Gruber in Demo & Informative, Alex Fedie & Kiya Krings in Duo, Izak Gruber in Extemp, Kiya Krings in Impromptu, Payton Schneider in Oratory, and Hannah Milliren in Radio.  Nice job!

The results of the Regional Level are in for the Conservation Awareness Poster Competition! Congratulations to Jesse Harm for placing 2nd and Kennedy Robelia for placing 1st in their age groups! Kennedy’s poster will now advance to the State level nest month – good luck!!


A reminder that middle school power hour lessons are only for students participating in Solo and Ensemble this week.


Solo and Ensemble schedules have been posted outside of the band room. If you haven’t already seen Mrs. Perau or Mr. Peterson to find out when you perform, please check them today!
